A blog that I often read, Lazy Man and Money, discussed a company called MonaVie, its Acai berry juice, and its marketing methods in an article called MonaVie Scam?.

Newton Running Shoe Review: Pt 2

Submitted by Customers Revenge on Wed, 08/26/2009 - 13:52

I got my brand new Newtons a couple of weeks ago and wrote an initial review Newton Running Shoes: Run Faster and Better. I've since run with them several more times, including a long run, and have more to report.

1) I failed on my first long run.
I tested the shoes on a run of 30km at my normal pace. To my extreme dismay I could not finish the run!

Snap Crackle and Pop: Chiropractors are Good!

Submitted by Customers Revenge on Wed, 04/22/2009 - 13:35

I have had a fairly chronic pain in my lower back, in varying degrees, for the last couple of years at least. Usually it’s just stiffness but for several months last year I felt very creaky. Seeking help from any source, I found a friend who swore by chiropractors. He referred me to Dr Eric Legault, in Ste Anne de Bellevue near Montreal.

Comstar 500GB external harddrive power failure

Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 04/20/2009 - 02:19

Product worked well initially, but I did notice that the power switch seemed a bit spongey. After having the drive for a few months it was working okay and I leave it running all the time anyway so no problem. Then a few weeks back the drive was not on and I found that the switch would not go into the on position without much tweaking. Finally got it to stay on and then left it like that until the other day and it quit again, this time the switch could not be manipulated to get the drive to work. So I ended up having to remove the drive from the case and install it into my PC which worked.
